DRAINAGE
- We specialise in all aspects of Foul and Land Drainage, and our staff are fully experienced in all aspects of this work. We offer a fast-response (usually within 1 hour) unblocking service and will be pleased to give a fixed-price quotation before we attend.
- We use our own full time employees on all contracts and never employ sub-contractors because we are aware of the problems associated with them. We provide written quotations for all repair work and include digital photographs/CCTV video where appropriate to assist in identifying problems in inaccessible areas etc. and ensure full understanding of the proposed works.
- All our repair and renewal work is supported by written guarantees on both the workmanship and the materials used.
- We provide a 24 hour emergency service and are happy to carry out work for all insurance companies
Drain Unblocking
Whether you have an emergency situation requiring immediate attention, or a long-standing problem such as a soakaway not working efficiently we can help. Where necessary we use highly efficient high-pressure jetting equipment which will deal with the most stubborn obstruction, and will completely remove all built-up scale and debris from your system, or for a simple blockage we can use the trusty drain rods. We can also use our internal root-cuttting equipment to remove roots without the need for excavation. Whatever we use we will get your drains flowing again - if we don’t, and excluding structural damage to the system being the cause, we don’t charge you a penny!
Drain Repairs/Renewals
We carry out all repairs and renewals, from a single damaged section replacement to an entire system. Where required we will arrange for the mandatory inspection by the Local Authority Building Inspector.
No-Excavation Relining
Pipe Relining is a technique which can be used in many cases and is designed to minimise the negative impact associated with the excavation of pipeline systems.
We offer cost effective solutions to the problem of drains which need repair and renovation. Pipe relining creates a "pipe within a pipe" solution for drainage maintenance. The life of damaged pipework can be extended by introducing new pipework within it. The benefits offered by relining include the avoidance of disruption, the fast return of the drain to its full functioning capacity and the saving of the expense associated with traditional excavation.
There are various different pipe relining techniques available, the most common is fitting a resin impregnated felt tube with a polyurethene coating through the damaged drain. This gives a sealed coating and it is moulded rigidly in place using water or air pressure. The result is a new pipe within the old one. The new pipe has the following properties if it is fully relined:
- Resistant to corrosion and chemical attack
- Will prevent leaks or root penetration
- Resilient to ground movement
- Has minimal cross section loss (typically less than 7%)
- Improved flow characteristics
CCTV Surveys
Our vehicles are fully equipped with the latest CCTV equipment for undertaking all works and all personnel are fully trained. Our vehicles are equipped with High Pressure Water Jetting Units, so if a blockage is encountered whilst carrying out a CCTV survey, it can be cleared and the CCTV survey completed on the same day. We provide CCTV surveys to provide detailed and inspecting systems for faults to ensure that any repairs needed are identified. All our CCTV Survey Reports are simple to understand and come complete with a Quotation for any remedial works that may be required, and you can retain a video cassette recording of the survey if you require (this is particularly useful for house-buying surveys etc. or for property managers who may need to demonstrate problems to a committee).
Maintenance
The best way to ensure that you never suffer the inconvenience of a blockage is to have periodic maintenance carried-out. This is usually an occasional power jetting to remove built- up scale and debris
